Who Ever Wins Pithapuram Gets Deputy CM Post?
Now the political circles say that the winner of the Pithapuram seat will get a big chance of becoming the Deputy Chief Minister.
After a fierce campaign and war of words, Andhra Pradesh went to polling earlier this week. The anticipation and buzz around the elections are high as both sides aggressively campaigned for the elections. As a result, Andhra Pradesh recorded the highest polling turnout compared to the last two elections.
A big discussion has been going on among people on who would win the polls. While the YCP wants to record a second consecutive win, TDP wants to bounce back and hence it allied with BJP and Janasena. The three parties allied for the elections.
There are a few seats that are getting all the attention and Pithapuram is on the top list for sure. Pawan Kalyan's candidacy is the main reason and the ruling party taking the seat prestigious is the other reason.
Now the political circles say that the winner of the Pithapuram seat will get a big chance of becoming the Deputy Chief Minister. Be it the ruling YCP or alliance the winner might get the post given the prestige around the seat.
If Vanga Geetha wins the seat she will be made the Deputy by YCP. AP CM Jagan revealed himself that Geetha will be given the chance as Deputy Chief Minister after winning the seat. YCP concluded the campaign in Pithapuram.
While the alliance did not make any such announcement it is being said that Pawan Kalyan might get the big post of Deputy CM. Pithapuram is one of the strong-fought seats and if Pawan wins the seat he might get the post.
On the other hand, experts say that winning the Pithapuram seat with a one lakh margin might not be an easy task as no candidate has managed to achieve this so far. In 2004, the candidate managed to win the seat with around 20k majority.
