The ongoing controversy surrounding the Tirumala Laddu issue is continuing to dictate terms in Andhra Pradesh. And now it is the turn of YS Jagan question chief minister Chandrababu on this matter today.
YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his allies over the controversy surrounding the Tirumala laddu.
He questioned who had informed Chandrababu that animal fat was allegedly mixed in the sacred prasadam and accused the ruling leaders of spreading false propaganda for political advantage.
Jagan alleged that Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh deliberately circulated misleading claims to create panic among devotees and damage the reputation of the Tirumala temple. Calling the accusations baseless, he said Chandrababu should offer a public apology for making statements that hurt the religious sentiments of millions.
He further remarked that YSR Congress supporters had conducted special prayers, wishing that the “faulty thinking” of these leaders would be corrected.
Emphasising the findings of central institutions, Jagan stated that laboratories under the National Dairy Development Board and the National Dairy Research Institute had reportedly confirmed that no adulteration took place in the laddu preparation.
Jagan also asserted that the CBI found no wrongdoing by YV Subba Reddy and Bhumana, reinforcing the party’s stand that the allegations were politically motivated and intended to mislead the public ahead of key political developments.
