At 94, Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is still looking attempt something unique and Nag Ashwin brought it to life on screen with great dedication and commitment. Nag Ashwin interacted with media and said, "We did not make Sing Geetham just because of our respect for the legend. He did cult classics and always took the cinema to next level. This story has all the qualities to entertain and emotionally immerse audiences. So, we made it."
He further said, "The movie is not about music and you don't see few scenes and then a song. I watched 100 times during edit and it felt like an experience that no one should miss. The story's soul is so powerful that it will leave a lasting impact on everyone."
When asked whether the film was initially intended for an OTT release, Nag Ashwin replied, “Even during the Covid period, I didn’t release Jathi Ratnalu on OTT. I make films for theatres first.”
Nag Ashwin revealed that Devi Sri Prasad has the capability of writing songs himself and it made easy to work with him on this project. He revealed that Singeetham has 200% energy to shoot and discuss cinema which made this process more memorable. Sing Geetham is releasing Tomorrow, worldwide promising a wholesome cinematic experience.
