AI is an advantage for many and a disadvantage for many, and Images on the internet can spread instantly, sometimes without the person’s knowledge or approval. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor spoke out against AI-generated images of her circulating online, joining others like Aishwarya Rai who have taken similar action. At the trailer launch of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, she said, “The common man sees these images and thinks I actually wore this. It’s important to protect authenticity and human creativity.”

The concern goes beyond social media. AI in films raises questions about consent and artistic control. Varun Dhawan, also at the event, said, “Technology is useful, but it has risks. Actors need protection because no algorithm can replicate their unique presence.” The discussion emphasized that while AI is advancing, the human touch in performance cannot be replaced.

The film industry has faced similar debates. The Tamil re-release of Raanjhanaa with AI alterations sparked conversations about creative ethics and audience perception, and even the lead actor Dhanush and director Anand L Rai got upset, and on social media, they posted their dissatisfaction with such things. Misuse of AI affects both how actors are seen and how their work is appreciated. Janhvi’s stand highlights the need to respect artists’ images and craft in the digital era.

Coming to Janhvi Kapoor's professional front, she recently appeared in the movie Param Sundari after promoting it intensively; it flopped, and next, she is coming up with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, produced by Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment, which offers a mix of romance, comedy, and family drama. Alongside Janhvi, the film features Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, and Maniesh Paul. Set during a big Indian wedding, it shows lively celebrations, quirky family moments, and Tulsi’s heartwarming romance. Releasing on 2 October, the film promises entertainment while reminding audiences about authenticity and respect for artists.
