Will Rangasthalam And Majili Advantage Work For Ram Too?

Allu Arjun used to fix his film release dates around Ugadi festival or some week in April as early Summer release will have much bigger advantage than any film releasing in any other season.
There could be exceptions like Baahubali-2 but every year, first film in Summer which releases after a relative dry period, will open better and big.
Rangasthalam had a better run too even with Bharat Ane Nenu and Mahanati kind of hits during the season. Even Naa Peru Surya kind of a wide release couldn't affect its run.
This year, Majili came as first release of Summer and the movie turned out to be biggest blockbuster for Chaitanya Akkineni, with almost 42 crores share at box office. It too continued to run till Maharshi in theaters even though Chitralahari, Jersey, Kanchana 3 and Avengers EndGame released in consecutive weeks.
May and most of June, belonged to Maharshi, hence the movie could collect better than initial talk suggested at box office.
Looking at all this numbers, data many producers wanted that initial release boost for 2020 Summer. But Ram Pothineni locked the date before anyone else.
Ram independently took decision to act in Ismart Shankar even though 'Sravanthi' Ravi Kishore, his paternal uncle was against it. Now, he took over the production of Red movie under their home banner, Sravanthi Movies with the 'free hand' blessing from his uncle.
The movie is said to be Thadam remake and Tirumala Kishore is taking action route after love stories. Distributors are looking at the film closely and have high hopes from it as Ismart Shankar craze will definitely help for a big opening.
Sravanthi Movies is looking to make it a minimum guarantee entertainer and Ram doesn't want to miss out on the opportunity Ismart Shankar has given him to become a better star. So, he is taking care of each and everything regarding film production and it is him, who looked the date so early it seems.
