Pan-Indian 'Matka' Audio Rights Grabbed By Top Music Company!

After a few setbacks, Mega Prince Varun Tej is working on an intriguing period action drama titled 'Matka'. The team released a glimpse in January which showcased the tone and mood of the film. Every update from the film has raised the expectations and the makers are going all out to provide the audience a high quality experience. They spent 15 crores on special sets that replicate vintage Vizag.

The movie's period setting demands a meticulous approach to every aspect of its production, including its music. Noted composer GV Prakash Kumar is working on the music of 'Matka' and esteemed audio company Aditya Music has grabbed the audio rights for a massive 3.6 crores. This is the biggest deal for the musical rights of Varun Tej's films. GV Prakash is known for his soulful songs and BGM's that elevate the proceedings to another level.

The team is focused on ensuring that the soundtrack authentically reflects the vintage ambiance of the story. The music is going to have a nostalgic quality and enhance the vintage theme with its impactful tunes. This shows the commitment of the makers towards 'Matka'.

Meenakshi Chaudhry is the leading lady and Bollywood Actress Nora Fatehi is roped in for a crucial role. The story takes place between 1958 and 1982. A Kishore Kumar has succeeded in recreating the milieu from the 50s to the 80s through his cinematography. 'Matka' is based on a real incident that shook the entire nation. Karuna Kumar who made 'Palasa 1978' and 'Sridevi Soda Center' has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for this movie apart from being the director.

The rest of the cast includes Naveen Chandra, Kannada Kishore, Ajay Ghosh, Mime Gopi, Roopalakshmi, Vijayrama Raju, Jagadeesh, Raj Thirandas and others. Karthika Srinivas is the editor. Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments is producing the movie, in association with Rajani Talluri's SRT Entertainments.
