Varun Tej Leaning More Towards Action Flicks!

Mega Prince Varun Tej has always been open to experiments. After a youthful suburban drama like 'Mukunda', he did a war-based love story like 'Kanche'. He did a space film like 'Anthariksham' and followed it up with a romantic love story like 'Tholi Prema'. He showcased his comic side through 'F2' and 'F3' apart from playing a negative role in 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh'.

His sports drama 'Ghani' failed badly and he is all set to bounce back with a slick action flick titled 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna'. Directed by Praveen Sattaru, this movie generated a lot of buzz with the teaser and trailer. This movie is high on action and the fight sequences are expected to be the biggest highlight.

After this film, we will witness him as a military pilot in 'Operation Valentine'. it is directed by well-known ad filmmaker and cinematographer Shakti Pratap Singh who is making his movie debut. Manushi Chillar is the female lead in this project. This patriotic and edge-of-the-seat entertainer showcases the indomitable spirits of our heroes on the frontlines and the challenges they face as they fight one of the biggest, fiercest aerial attacks that India has ever.

He is also working on 'Matka' under Karuna Kumar's direction. It is a period drama that will also be high on action. It looks like Varun Tej is making sure that he doesn't fall into the commercial trap and focusing more on action films that will suit his personality. Hope these movies become successful.
