Cold war between MP and MLA in Pithapuram

A cold war of sorts is brewing between Kakinada's YSRCP MP Vanga Geetha and her party colleague and Pithapuram MLA Pendem Dorababu. There are strong rumours that the MP wants to contest for the legislative assembly from Pithapuram and this is the reason for Pendem Dorababu to counter her moves in his constituency.
Dorababu is upset that Vanga Geetha is focusing on Pithapuram and is launching development works from her MPL ADs in Pithapuram. She is also in touch with all the leaders and cadres that are opposed to the laid-back attitude of the MLA. She is said to have indicated to the party leadership of her intention to become an MLA in the 2024 election.

MP Vanga Geetha's nominee Kothem Dattu found a place in the committee, while Pendem's nominees were rejected.
