It is known that YS Sharmila, who floated the YSR Congress party to try her luck in the state, is reportedly looking at the Congress party, as per the media reports. This started a debate on what happens to the 'Rajanna Rajyam' slogan.
After floating the party, she carried out a padayatra covering three thousand kilometers. He urged the opposition parties to work together to dethrone KCR. But the media reports are saying that she is now preferring the grand old Congress party. Adding fuel to this, she met Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
It is known that Sharmila wished former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on his birthday. More than the wishes, the fashion in which she wished Rahul Gandhi grabbed the attention of political observers and they are predicting that Sharmila is all set to join hands with Congress.
"Wishing Shri @RahulGandhi ji a very happy and a wonderful birthday. May you continue to inspire the people with your perseverance and patience, and serve them through your sincere efforts. Wishing you great health, happiness, and success in abundance," Sharmila wished Rahul Gandhi.
Reports say that Sharmila held talks with Sonia Gandhi and DK Shivakumar in this regard already. However, Sharmila is hoping for the alliance, while the Congress party wants a merger, as per the reports. Now talks are going on regarding the two aspects of Congress-YSR TP.
It is said that Congress leaders are proposing a merger as there is no other big leader in YSRTP other than Sharmila. Sharmila is expected to run the elections from YSRTP no matter if it is an alliance or merger.
Sharmila is keen on becoming active in Telangana politics by contesting from the Paleru Assembly constituency in Khammam district. She had spoken about this a few times already. Keeping this aside, we might get clarity on the alliance or merger by the 30th of this month.
