The much-awaited results of the Andhra Pradesh elections are out. The alliance had hit it out of the park with a landslide victory. The dominance of the alliance was such that YCP which was 151 seats in the last elections was restricted to less than 15 seats. Even in the MP segments, it was the alliance show.

If we look at the results, it was the dominance of first-time winners in the state. Out of 175 MLAs 81 are first-time MLAs which is close to half the number of the total member strength in the house. This includes big names too across the party.

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is a sensation now with his win. He is dubbed as the man of the match for the role he played in forming the alliance. He is a first-time MLA. He won the Pithapuram seat with a big margin. In 2019 he lost the elections from both seats. Cut to 2024 he recorded a big win.

The same is the case with Nara Lokesh. He lost the Mangalagiri seat in 2019 and won it in 2024. After 1985 TDP won the Mangalagiri seat. Be it TDP, YCP, BJP, or Janasena all the parties had new faces in the house.

Grand old TDP which won the majority seats has the highest first-time MLAs followed by Janasena and BJP. Janasena won 21 seats and 15 are first-time MLAs including Pawan Kalyan.

Former Ministers and family members of Legislators also made it to the Assembly for the first time to give it a fresh look. Sujana Chowdary was a Minister earlier. This time he won as an MLA. The same is the case with Kotla Jayasurya Prakasha Reddy. He was a Minister and son of Ex-CM. This time he entered the house as the MLA.
