AP: Sons Of Six Former CMs In Election Race!
They are with different parties and their respective fathers served as the Chief Ministers.

The political parties in Andhra Pradesh are on a spree of announcing candidates for the upcoming elections. The TDP and Janasena announced the list first compared to other parties. However, the parties did not announce the total list of candidates for the upcoming elections.
The ruling YSRCP also joined the list and announced the candidates list. The party announced the total list. Candidates for the Assembly and MP seats were announced for the elections.
Now an interesting thing has come out which says that the sons of six former Chief Ministers are in the race. They are with different parties and their respective fathers served as the Chief Ministers.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy: The YSRCP chief is the serving Chief Minister of the state. In the 2019 polls, he took his party to a landslide victory. He is the son of YSR, the ex-CM of the combined state. YSR has the image of a mass leader due to the schemes he implemented.
Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy: He is the son of Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy who served as the CM of combined AP twice. He also served as the MP six times. Surya Prakash Reddy is with the TDP and contesting the Dhone Assembly seat.
Balakrishna: Entered films as the heir of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is continuing his legacy in politics too. Earlier NTR represented the Hindupur seat. Now Balakrishna is representing the seat and won two elections. Eyeing a third consecutive win, Balakrishna is again contesting Hindupur.
Nara Lokesh: Former IT Minister of AP is contesting from the Mangalagiri seat. Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s son is adamant about winning the elections this time. In the 2019 elections, Lokesh lost with a small margin.
Nadendla Manohar: The former Assembly Speaker is the son of Nadendla Bhaskara Rao. The veteran Congress leader was the CM in 1984 for a brief period. Nadendla Manohar is with the Janasena Party and he is the Party’s political affairs committee chairman. He is contesting from the Tenali seat.
Nedurumalli Ramkumar Reddy: He is the son of Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy who served as the CM of combined AP in the 90s as a Congress leader.Ram Kumar is with the ruling YCP now and he is contesting from the Venkatagiri seat.
