Synopsis:

Anasuyarn Ramalingam (Samantha) regrets not having the freedom to live the life rnthe way she wanted as her Mother Mahalakshmi (Nadiya) keeps dictating rnterms to her. She even attempts suicide when her Mom fixes her marriage rnwith a Wealthy Man without bothering about her feelings. Still, rnMahalakshmi remains the same..!

For a change, Anasuya goes to rnher Aunt's House in the village and falls in love with Anand Vihari rn(Nithin) there. However, Anand Vihari's Family doesn't like Anasuya and rneven the social status widens the gap. Unavoidable situation force Anandrn Vihari to promise that he would marry another lady (Anupama). When rnAnasuya returns to City, She comes to know about the arrangements being rnmade for her marriage. How Anasuya & Anand got married overcoming rnall the hurdles forms the rest of the tale.

Performances:

Withoutrn any doubt, Nithin has given his Career Best Performance. Subtle rnexpressions and the way he approached his character were just amazing. rnEven his Chemistry with Samantha worked big time. Nithin is too good in rnthe Climax block and he will always be proud of his  impressive show in rn'A..Aa'.

Samantha explored her unseen Dimension in 'A..Aa'. rnEspecially, Her Expressions conveying her helplessness in the presence rnof her strict Mom were appreciable. Audience will remember her role rn& acting for a very long time.

As a jealous girl, Anapama rnParameswaran does justice to her Character. Rao Ramesh stands tall with rnhis dialogue delivery, body language and comic timing. Nadiya's role rnhave shares of character she played in 'Atharintiki Daredi'. Naresh doesrn a pivotal character and his combination scenes with Samantha have come rnout well. Srinivas Avasarala, Praveen, Eshwari, Ajay, Ananya and Posani rnhave played their parts to perfection.

Climax

Cons:

Second Half

Slow Pace

Illogical Scenes

Technicalities:

Mickeyrn J Meyer has the track record of delivering back-to-back chartbuster rnalbums. Songs composed by him were so pleasant and situational. rnBackground Score elevates the good moments in the movie. Camera Work by rnNatarajan Subramaniam is simply superb. He is flawless be it capturing rnsoul of the village or usage of lighting/colors/camera angles. Editing rncould have been better in the Second Half and few scenes of Samantha rnshould be trimmed. Production Values were rich. Yet again, Trivikram rnshowed the power of his pen with oneliners such as 'Watch Unna rnPrathivaadu Time Vastundhi Antadu, Kani Time Telustundhi Anthe'. rnDialogues of Rao Ramesh in the climax were amazing. Overall, Trivikram rndelivered a good movie which could be watched by entire family.

Analysis:

Firstrn things first, 'A..Aa' is inspired from a popular novel 'Meena'. rnActually, Vijaya Nirmala has made a feature film based on this novel rnseveral years ago. Now, Trivikram presents the same concept with his rnmark entertainment values and taking.

Satirical Comedy is the rnstrength of Trivikram. Even a film like 'Khaleja' which end as a Flop atrn Box Office earned great viewership for TV Premieres because of the samern reason and the good reputation he enjoys among family audience. Taking rnup a normal story, He added good dose of comedy & family emotion to rnmake it a clean family entertainer.

Entertaining Screenplay and rnTrivikram's Punchlines will engage the audience throughout the coarse ofrn the movie. Despite the slow start, The Film gains momentum after rnHeroine reaches her Aunt's Village. Except for the Hero Sister's rnMarriage Proposal, First Half is thoroughly entertaining.

On rnthe flip, Second Half has been dragged a bit. There are few irritating rn& illogical scenes in these portions to spoil the flow. Even the rnpre-Climax Flight looks completely misfit. Finally, The Hero-Heroine rninner conflict established the emotional connect and thereafter the rnproceedings were interesting. Trivikram is superb as both Writer & rnDirector in the Climax block. The manner in which Rao Ramesh's characterrn has been moulded deserves a special mention. Audience step out of rntheatres with a feeling of watching a feel-good entertainer and that's rnthe real strength of 'A..Aa'.

Bottom Line: A 'Clean' Family Entertainer!
