Aditi Rao Hydari belongs Hyderabadi family but she did not try to act in Telugu films before, Sammohanam.

The reasons she said for that, "My family is from Hyderabad but I did not grow up in Hyderabad. I grew up in North India and hence, I am fluent in Hindi and English.

For Sanmohanam, I started learning Telugu as I needed to understand the words clearly to get the emotion right."

But she gained so much confidence that she dubbed for the movie on her own.

She said, "Indraganti Mohan Krishna, the director asked me to dub for the movie after watching me put in effort on sets to learn the language.

He felt it would be authentic if I dubbed for my character. I am playing an actress in the movie and after discussing with him, even I thought it is better to dub and I had to put in even more efforts to learn and speak.

I have relatives who speak a mix of Telugu and Hindi, so that made me familiar with the language. I really love it and Telugu is the sweetest language."
