After the failure of Na Peru Surya, Na Illu India, Stylish Star Allu Arjun was supposed to be a part of a movie in the direction of Vikram K Kumar. The star hero wantedly delayed the movie and finally called off the project. By this time, Trivikram Srinivas made himself free from the works of Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and evinced interest on working with Bunny for the third time.

Allu Arjun wanted to remake Bollywood youthful entertainer "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" and pressurized the director to work on it. After a round of discussions, Trivikram and other well-wishers of Bunny have given feedback to Bunny that made him think about the project. Considering various drawbacks attached to it, Bunny changed his mind and surrendered completely to Trivikram.

Trivikram himself has been stating that he would come up with a new script for Bunny but it was the actor who wanted to experiment and suggested the Bollywood remake. After realizing the mistake now, he has now let Trivikram pen a new script for him and decided to wait a few more months without work.

The star director is said to have sought three months for the script work and by February 2019, the project might hit the floors.
