A love making scene of pregnant Kalki Koechlin and her Husband in 'Ribbon' directed by Raakhee Sandilya was chopped off by the Censor Board.
In the scene, The Husband who have his own doubts over having sex during pregnancy asks his wife Kalki whether it's safe. In reply, Kalhi assures it's completely fine and she had even googled to be so sure.
Director Raakhee objected the order of CBFC to chop the love-making scene by half. She says it's very natural for women to seek sex during high anxiety like pregnancy. The Filmmaker claims to have done enough research before including such a sequence in the script.
Whereas, revamped CBFC headed by Prasoon Joshi makes it clear that the love making scene willn't go under scissors if the Makers agree for 'A' certificate. The Director admits she had cut the scene by half for obtaining an 'UA'.
