Bahubali The Conclusion is gearing up for a release on 28th April and the director of the franchise, SS Rajamouli is busy promoting the movie everywhere. He recently, went to Tamil Nadu for promoting his movie and it has come to our attention that the director was opposite the idea of re-releasing the movie, Bahubali The Beginning.
Hindi distributor, producer and famous director, Karan Johar spent time on distributing the movie all over North India in Hindi heartland to assure the big success of Bahubali movie. He was thrilled to see the movie collecting well over 100 crores for just Hindi version and creating a record for any dubbed movie. His strategies worked big time and the distributor wanted to announce the month of April as Bahubali month by re - releasing the first part during the first weekend.
The movie was released in more than 1000 screens and the movie did not even record a share of 2 crores. While this is embarrassing for a movie that grossed 600 crores, the director of the movie, Rajamouli was against this idea but did not resist much as Hindi release is being taken care of Karan Johar in entirety and the director did not want to get into the famous director's bad books just before the release of his more hyped movie, Bahubali: The Conclusion. Well, who ever was behind the idea of releasing the movie again after n number of satellite telecasts and movie being available digitally should be awarded and rewarded. Don't you think so?
