A DOG to take centrestage in Express Raja

Merlapaka Gandhi used a running train as backdrop for his maiden flick. For his second movie, He choose a dog to create unusual situations so that maximum humor could be generated.

As per insiders, The dog happens to be pet of Heroine Surabhi in 'Express Raja' and its her favourite as well. After the puppy goes missing, The lead pair launch a operation to trace it. In the process, Many comic characters such as Shakalaka Shankar, Saptagiri & Brahmaji were touched. The major twist in the tale is the diamond in the dog's chain.

'Express Raja' is likely to be first winner of Sankranthi 2016. It bagged over 400 screens and the investment of Rs 12-14 crore could be easily recovered by the end of first weekend. The making cost of 'Express Raja' is just Rs 7 crore and Producers made table profits already. Even the Satellite Rights of the movie were bagged by MAA TV already for Rs 3.25 crore.
