In an interview with media channel, Maanvi opened up on the recent incident that happened to her.
A year ago, she got a call from a random unknown number. They said they were doing a web series, and wanted to cast Maanvi. They told her the budget, and she said, this is too less, and asked them why they are talking about the budget, even before narrating the script. She asked them to tell the script, and later the discussion can be done on money, dates and all.
Maanvi said that the producer is ready to triple the remuneration, if she compromises with him. He said that he can give much more, but he asked her to compromise.
She said that she was hearing words compromise after 7, 8 years, and suddenly she don't know what triggered her, she abused him, and told him that she will call the police.
Maanvi was really mad because in this pro imposed #MeToo era, she was frustrated at how things like this still happen.
