I haven't made GPSK with my eyes shut: Krish

Few Historians began targeting 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' after its release. They went on to state Satakarni isn't a Telugu Warrior at all and he hails from Maharashtra. They even slammed the Filmmaker for distortion of historical facts.

Krish didn't hesitate to come down heavily on the Critics. 'I don't respond on the criticism from Individuals who had undermined my efforts. Does these people have more knowledge than Viswanatha Satyanarayana who said Satakarni is one among the Telugu Warriors? Can they say that the version of Parabrahma Sastry is false? Even NT Rama Rao thought of playing Satakarni onscreen. Why did he thought of it if Satakarni isn't a Telugu Man? I haven't made GPSK with my eyes shut. I had read 5 books while preparing the script. There were 10 versions of Satakarni in them. I had blended all of them to make this movie and tried my best to present the truth. All those allegations were baseless,' he told.

'Gautamiputra Satakarni' has gained the acceptance of movie buffs. Even some of the historians felt no one other than Krish has presented the life story of Satakarni so well. That's the biggest achievement for a Director who made this historical subject despite having very little information.
