Nani's Strict Orders To SSR

Update: 2021-09-03 02:38 GMT
Nani is firmly against the OTT release of his upcoming film, Tuck Jagadish. But he had to bow down to the pressure that was asserted on him by the producers, who were under huge financial burden as the film was being postponed repeatedly. They eventually struck a deal with Amazon Prime Video and sold off the direct to digital rights of the Nani starrer for a profitable amount. Nani reluctantly agreed to Amazon Prime Video release as he was left with no other option.

Speaking at the trailer launch event that was organized by Amazon Prime Video recently, Nani said "I am ready to ban myself from Tollywood if my forthcoming films have the opportunity to release in theaters but skip the same and premiere directly on OTT. I am an ardent supporter of theatres and there are no two ways about it. Our intention was to release Tuck Jagadish in theatres but the prevailing situation didn't favour the case and we then had to back out. Releasing our film on OTT was never the idea but that is how it turned out."

The latest we hear is that Nani has passed strict orders to the makers of his upcoming biggie Shyam Singha Roy. He has asked the makers of the big budget actioner not to even consider the OTT release option. He is strictly against the OTT release prospect and has made his intentions clear to the makers of Shyam Singh Roy. Nani has already entered the wrong books of Telugu film distributors as two of his films, 'V' and Tuck Jagadish have gone the OTT way. If any of his upcoming projects go the OTT way, he will be permanently remarked by distributors.

So, Nani wants to release Shyam Singha Roy in theaters no matter what. The shoot has been wrapped up already and the post-production is in full swing now. This will be Nani's immediate next release and the stakes are high on the same. Nani intends to release all his forthcoming films in theaters and his latest comments prove the same. More details in this regard will be out soon.
