As we know, Anushka's mystery thriller 'Nishabdham' is out on Amazon Prime. The film which came out on 2nd October got a negative response and blamed the uninteresting screenplay. The team is still promoting the film and doing their part.
In the meanwhile, there were shocked when the news came out that a local channel with airing 'Nishabdham' very soon. Triggered by this, the makers of 'Nishabdham' have filed a complaint and sent legal notices to the channel. The makers demanded a sum of 1.1 crores as damage charges and even Amazon Prime is now demanding another 30 lakhs citing damage to their business.
Reportedly, the film's director Hemanth Madhukar retweeted a link which suggests that this news is completely true. In recent times, ETV too gave legal notices to a local channel for streaming 'Uma Maheswara Ugraroopasya' which was a film bought by them. Looks like the local channels are completely ignoring the satellite and digital rights business thereby landing in big troubles.
