No Worries For Producers

As a protest against the digital service providers, all the movie theaters are going to get shut down from March 2nd onwards. Initially, the objections against the digital service providers started in Telugu. Later, the producers from other languages also came forward to support. Now, the entire South Film Industry is getting ready to go against it. Though both parties had some discussions regarding this, the decision of closing the theatres is still on.

It is an on the season for the industry when the kids are busy with board exams. The youth don't show much interest to watch movies during this time. Even the families of those kids also won't look at the cinema halls. So, most of the theatres will be empty during this time. So, no big movies will get released during this period. Till Rangasthalam which is gearing up to hit the theatres on March 30th, no other movie is slated to get releases. So, the producers thought it would be the best time to shut the theatres down without any worries.

"Most of the digital service providers in South are under the hand of Allu Aravind. Rangastalam which is getting released in the end of March also belongs to the same mega family. So, it would be a loss for them as well if the theatres are still shut. The JAC (Joint Actio. Committee) has never spoken directly to Allu Aravind. He also never attended a JAC meeting ever. The solution will not come out if both the parties are silent" said an annoyed producer from the industry.
