Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Friday said the inking of the Indo-US nuclear deal was the best moment of his tenure.
Asked about his lowest and best moments as prime minister during a media interaction here, Manmohan Singh said: "Well I will need time to reflect on this."
He, however, quickly added: "But certainly I think the best moment for me was when we were able to strike a nuclear deal with the United States to end the nuclear apartheid which had sought to stifle the processes of social and economic change and technical progress of our country in many ways."
