Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor's autobiography 'Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored' has become a sensation now. After revealing about his meeting with Dawood Ibrahim and his Father Raj Kapoor's love affairs, He now comes up with a shocking revelation of 'Awards for Sale culture' in the 70s itself.

Rishi Kapoor admits buying the first Filmfare Award for Best Award he won in 1974 for Rs 30,000.

'Bobby', the launch pad of Rishi Kapoor, directed by his father Raj Kapoor was a huge success. He was honoured with Filmfare Award the very next year. But, Rishi Kapoor regretted resorting to such practice and never again preferred this path.

Filmfare hasn't reacted on Rishi Kapoor's shocking revelation so far. Which could be understood that there is no smoke without fire. This dark secret will further damage the reputation of award ceremonies which have become more like entertainment shows these days.
