Power Star Puneeth Raj Kumar needs no introduction in Kannada film industry. He recently had a release in the form of Anjani Putra which has Rashmika Mandanna Shetty in the female lead role. The film opened grandly in all the areas but the film faced an obstacle from Bangalore City Civil Court. The court ordered to halt the screening of the movie and the court's order will come into action from today.
An advocate has approached the court alleging that a lot of scenes from the movie were shot in a way it hurts the sentiments of the advocate fraternity. The court has ordered to stop the film's screening until the 2nd of the next month which shocked the film unit. The film unit was planning to remove the objectionable scenes but the decision is shocking for them.
The film unit decided to approach High Court on the same issue. If the film unit fails to bring a stay on the lower court's verdict, it will create a lot of damage to the revenues of the movie. Already, a pirated copy of the movie is doing rounds over the internet and in this scenario, if the movie fails to have a run in the theatres, the producers are sure to face a big loss.
