Senior Actor Prabhu accused Tamil Government of disrespecting his father Shivaji Ganesan by planning the inauguration of memorial of the Legendary Personality just alike any other ordinary event.
Actually, CM Palanisamy issued orders for unveiling Shiva Ganesan Memorial on October 1st at Adyar in Chennai, on the eve of the Actor's 89th birth anniversary. However, Prabhu got offended by the fact that neither Chief Minister nor Deputy CM will be attending the function. Instead, Two Ministers were asked to complete the formalities.
In his letter to Information & Publicity Minister Sellur K Raju, Prabhu requested CM, all the Ministers, MPs and MLAs to grace the opening ceremony of Shivaji Ganesan memorial. He reminded Shivaji's Memorial was a dream project of late Jayalalithaa who sanctioned Rs 2.8 crore for it. The Actor recalled his Father had strived for the welfare of Tamil Culture and Tamil Language. He opined giving a miss to the inauguration of the memorial is disrespecting Shivaji Ganesan.
