Comedian Venu Madhav who is missing from the limelight since the past few years has given an exclusive interview recently.
Death Rumours: 'I kept ignoring all the negative campaign against Me. Some say, I was diagnosed with Cancer and Aids. But, I couldn't tolerate when some people kept spreading that I am no more alive. Hence, I had gone to the extent of filing police complaint'.
Marriages: 'There are speculations that I married thrice. But, That's not true. I have just one family'.
Collapse on Racha sets: 'It happened because I was continuously shooting for several projects. I had neither eaten dinner previous day nor tiffin in the morning. So, I got fainted. Thereafter, people began circulating rumors about my health'.
Sr NTR's Advice: 'Upon watching My Mimicry in a stage show, NTR stood up and clapped for me. Later, He asked me to be with TDP. SV Krishna Reddy's Sampradayam (1996) was my launch pad. I did a role in Chiru's 'Master' (1997). 'Tholi Prema' was a big break in my career'.
No Offers in the recent past: 'I myself turned down few offers for two reasons. My children have grown up and I should choose roles which don't irk them. So, I stopped accepting roles with adult content. Few other filmmakers have avoided casting Me because of negative campaign against me. Still, I am happy. There was a time I used to work for 6 shifts and don't even have time to eat'.
