Maruthi has always respected the fame he’s earned the hard way. He started back in 2012 with Ee Rojullo, then Bus Stop, slowly building his way up. For the past four years, he’s been waiting for a chance to work with Prabhas on Raja Saab, which is finally set to release on Sankranti 2026.
At a recent event, Maruthi talked openly about the ups and downs, especially dealing with trolls. “Lately, negative comments have really increased. People overreact to even small mistakes, target celebrities personally, some even use abusive language,” he said. His advice? Don’t let it get to you, keep working hard because it pays off eventually.
The event also highlighted actress Pragathi, who recently won a gold medal in weightlifting. Maruthi mentioned her as an example of staying focused despite negativity. “It’s amazing that she got the gold. Don’t let negative comments bring you down. If those comments didn’t exist, maybe we wouldn’t have reached our milestones, and I wouldn’t have gotten a film like Raja Saab,” he said.
He also threw in a bit of humor about handling criticism. “Some people spend all their energy being negative. That’s all they’ve got. Take it as fuel instead. Honestly, thanks to the haters too,” he joked. His words are already making rounds online. Meanwhile, fans are counting down to Raja Saab, hitting theaters on January 9, 2026.
