Puri Jagannath's next with Akhil Akkineni?

Director Puri Jagannath recently came up with the film Double iSmart which did not work at the box office. Starring Ram Pothineni in the lead role, the movie did not impress the audiences at the box office. The film came as the sequel of iSmart Shankar but Puri Jagannath did not meet the right success. Now, he is reportedly in talks with young heroes for his next collaboration.

After the failure of Liger and Double iSmart, Puri is badly in need of a hit and the senior heroes might not trust him at the moment. Hence, he is chasing the young heroes for a possible collaboration.

As per the latest reports, Puri Jagannath recently approached Siddhu Jonnalagadda but their collaboration seems to be not working. Siddhu showed interest to work with Puri but reportedly, he rejected the idea of working with Puri smoothly. The reasons are his prior commitments and his disinterest in the idea that Puri shared.

Now, the say in the industry is that Puri landed in the Akkineni compound. Puri Jagannath is teaming up with Akhil Akkineni. The talks are underway but it is still unsure of what Akhil will decide. Akhil is also going through a rough phase and he should be working with a successful director to be in the safe zone.

On the other hand, Puri earlier worked with Akkineni Nagarjuna in Sivamani.
