'The Birthday Boy': Title Glimpse is interesting

Telugu filmmakers living abroad, known as NRIs, are bringing their love for cinema back home. Two such NRIs have returned to Hyderabad to create a hilarious buddy comedy called The Birthday Boy. This technically-sound film features Ravi Krishna, Sameer Malla, and Rajeev Kanakala in the lead roles. At the helm is director Whisky.

A heartwarming comedy following five friends who immigrate to the US for their Master's degrees (MS), this film promises to humorously explore their experiences as newcomers adapting to a new culture. The American Dream could lay shattered. The story is based on real-life events, adding a layer of authenticity.

Filmed using Sync Sound (live recording) for a natural and realistic feel, this passion project has been funded by the director-producer duo's own savings. High production values are expected. A unique color grading technique implemented by a Hollywood colorist from Turkey stands at the core.
