USA Box Office: Who Is Next Big Victim From Tollywood

Things are starting to look very gloomy for the India student community in the United States as the administration has started to crack down on the part-time employment practices. The administration has made it very clear that students who are found guilty of part-time employment, fraud and related activities will face serious consequences.
What this essentially is doing is that Telugu and Indian students in the United States are cracking down on part-time gigs. They are facing fear of deportation, and that is the reason why they are not interested in taking part in any sort of part-time opportunities, henceforth at least to the degree that they were doing in the past.
What this will also mean is that the income revenue and generation of the Indian community will go down substantially without incorporation of part-time culture.
Once the revenue stream goes down, it will take an obvious toll on the overall scheme of things. This will essentially mean that the revenue generation for Telugu films in the United States will also take a bit. With constrained revenue sources, even students will be sceptical about watching new films in theatres with premium prices for premieres.
The culture of thronging movie theatres on the Day of premiere might go down substantially once the revenue generation model also goes down, which will obviously be a result of the cracking down on part time culture. For now, the discussion is about which Telugu film will fall prey to this decreased revenue stream in the United States and it has led to a discussion already.
What must be noted is that Tollywood does not have a big ticket film in near future. Once we witness a big film and the subsequent market correction based on the new revenue model in the United States, we will get an understanding of how big the impact is going to be on Indian cinema and more relevantly Telugu Cinema.
