Film director Venu Udugula has finally spoken about the ongoing controversy related to singer Mangli. For the past few days, his name was being discussed widely on social media in connection with the case. This created confusion among people and also led to many false assumptions.
Responding to this situation, Venu Udugula clearly said that he has no connection with the case. He wanted to put an end to all the rumors and clarify the truth. He explained that he only tried to help as a common person and not as someone involved in the issue.
Speaking about the matter, he said, "In recent days, seeing my name linked to this case in some media platforms has hurt me deeply. Everyone should understand that such baseless news can affect a person’s reputation, dignity and even their family." He also mentioned that his name is not included as an accused in the FIR related to the case.
The director further explained his role. He said that both Mangli and advocate Subbarao are known to him personally. Because of that, he only tried to help them solve the issue peacefully. He added that his intention was only to guide them toward a fair and calm solution. "I only suggested that the issue should be solved peacefully and justice should be done to those affected," he said.
Venu Udugula also expressed disappointment over how his name was unnecessarily dragged into the matter. He requested people not to believe false news without knowing the facts. He thanked his supporters and said their love and trust give him strength. "I request everyone not to believe false propaganda and to understand the truth," he added.
Meanwhile, advocate Subbarao also spoke to the media and supported the director’s statement. He confirmed that Venu Udugula has no connection with the case. According to him, even the police investigation has not found any link between the director and the incident.
