The Movie Artists Association (MAA) has terminated an additional 18 YouTube channels that were posting personal attacks and false news targeting actors and their family members. Channels like 'Brahmi Trolls 3.0', 'TK Creations', 'Doctor Trolls', 'Trolling Poradhu', and 'Update Trolls' are among those that have been blocked.

Recently, MAA president Manchu Vishnu appealed to digital content creators to remove videos and comments criticizing heroes and heroines within 48 hours, warning of further action if they failed to comply. As a result, around five YouTube channels were initially terminated. "This is just the beginning, and such actions against these channels will continue in the future," the association stated in a post.

The crackdown comes after the arrest of YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu for making 'jokes' about child abuse during a live session. Several Tollywood celebrities, including Sai Dharam Tej, Nara Rohith, Sudheer Babu, Karthikeya, and Manchu Manoj, had called out Praneeth for the inappropriate video.

According to reports, MAA plans to terminate around 200 more YouTube channels in the coming days for posting defamatory content. The association has been actively monitoring and taking action against channels that engage in trolling and defamation of artists.
