Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme Irregularities: Authorities Speed Up Investigation!
To provide financial assistance for the poor families for marriages, the Telangana government led by Chief Minister KCR launched Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme in the year 2014. Many poor families have benefited from the scheme.
The authorities have unearthed the irregularities in the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme. The irregularities in the scheme created a sensation.
The Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB) of Telangana which is probing into the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme Irregularities has speeded up the investigation process.
The irregularities broke out after the cop started investigating a murder case related to the irregularities. A person was killed over disputes in sharing money that was directed from the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme.
For this, the fraudsters used fake documents to claim the scheme. Many minor girls were also made part of the fraud, by the fraudsters.
So far, the authorities have arrested senior assistance and other employees who work at Adilabad Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) in connection with the irregularities in the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme.
Authorities said that the senior assistance and other employees in the RDO office directed the scheme money by issuing Kalyana Lakshmi cheques for 113 Ineligible minor girls.
