The unwanted row involving Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan is not showing any sign of being sorted out. At regular intervals, the issues between them pop up. They earlier openly targeted each other and raised many eyeballs.
Recently, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan gave a speech in the house praising the government and many felt that the issues would be sorted out. But the reality was different. Alleging that many bills are pending with the Governor, the Telangana government moved the Supreme Court against Tamilisai. In a writ petition, the state government alleged that around 10 bills are yet to be cleared and sought Supreme Court's intervention.
After Raj Bhavan vs Pragathi Bhavan a new row popped up in the state and it is now the Raj Bhavan vs Telangana Chief Secretary. Tamilisai slammed the Chief Secretary and said that she did not follow the protocol. She even said that Raj Bhavan is closer than Delhi.
This time Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan raised the topic of allegedly not following the protocol and visiting the Raj Bhavan. She asked why the Chief Secretary did not visit the Raj Bhavan though it is much closer than Delhi and said that friendly visits would be helpful.
Taking to Twitter, Tamilisai mentioned the same in her tweet. The Governor's office asked didn't Chief Secretary of Telangana Santhi Kumari find time to make a casual visit to Raj Bhavan. She also reminded the Chief Secretary that Raj Bhavan is very close than Delhi.
"Dear @TelanganaCS Rajbhavan is nearer than Delhi. Assuming office as CS you didn't find time to visit Rahbhavan officially. No protocol! No courtesy even for courtesy call. Friendly official visits & interactions would have been more helpfull which you Don't even intend," the Governor said on Twitter.
It appears that the issues and problems between the government and Governor will not settle down soon. Forget about old issues setting down, new issues are coming up at regular intervals. The issue erupted when Tamilisai alleged that protocol was not followed and Raj Bhavan was not respected. The state government hit back at her. Now a new issue came up.
