In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh reported 10,167 fresh infections of the virus and the total infections of the virus in the state zoomed to 130557. With 68 fresh casualties, the total fatalities rose to 1281.
The health bulletin issued by the health department states that in the last 24 hours as many as 70,068 samples were tested for the respiratory and 10,167 cases were detected in the state.
On the other hand, as many as 4,618 patients recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, which takes the total recoveries of the contagious disease to 600024. The active cases stood at 69252.
West Godavari straightaway reported the highest fresh cases of the virus for three consecutive days. In the last 24 hours, West Godavari reported 1441 fresh and the district has 19180 cases.
Kurnool(15723), Guntur(13762) are the other regions in the state that turned out as the worst-affected district with the virus outbreak.
