The House of Representatives holds a big role in democracy. The policies and schemes are tabled and introduced in the houses by the representatives. But we get to see some shocking scenes in the houses. Be it the heated arguments between members of different parties or some light-hearted moments
Now a Chief Minister made fun of himself in the House by reading the old budget in the house. The budget sessions in Rajasthan started recently and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot addressed the house. But what made the members of the house surprised is that he read the document from the old budget.
This had rocked the Assembly house. The opposition party leaders raised slogans against the Chief Minister and said that the house was disrespected by the ruling party and that what the Chief Minister did was not right. The budget session saw the house adjourning due to the slogans of the legislators.
Things got under control after the concerned officials brought the new budget document. After a short halt, the sessions started. He said sorry before reading the new budget and said that the opposition party leaders can.
After the budget mishap, the Chief Minister spoke to the media and issued an apology. He said that there is no truth in the allegations made by the BJP leaders that the budget was leaked and that what happened in the house is just an error. He took to Twitter to share his anger.
"BJP just wants to show that it is against the development and progress of Rajasthan. Their fictitious allegation that the budget was leaked shows that they will not spare the budget too from their petty politics. There is only one obstacle in 'Bachat, Rahat, Badhat' - BJP," the Chief Minister said on Twitter.
