A secret survey in all the 119 Assembly constituencies conducted by TRS Leadership has brought to the notice of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that around 30 percent of the ruling party MLAs doesn't enjoy a good reputation in their constituency. Corruption, Inaccessibility, Rude Behaviour, Role of Family, Involvement in sand mining, settlements & contracts has been cited as the reason.
At present, TRS have the support of 83 MLAs including defections from Opposition Parties. KCR, KTR, Harish Rao and Couple of other Ministers have a positive image among public. About five Cabinet Ministers & nearly 20 MLAs received thumbs down from public. They don't have chances of winning in the 2019 General Polls if they doesn't take their job seriously.
Based on survey results, KCR issued a warning to poorly performing Legislators. Instructions were passed to spend more time in their constituencies rather than camping in Hyderabad.
