BRS Silence Raises Questions On Alliance With Communists?

Update: 2023-02-18 12:08 GMT
Telangana Chief Minister KCR is regarded as a mastermind in politics as he plays the cards right when the correct time arrives. In 2018, he went for early polls and did not let the opposition parties have an advantage. This helped him in winning the general elections by a big margin.

KCR surprised many by allaying with the communists. Usually, the communists don't like the mainstream parties and hate them. But despite this, KCR managed to join hands with them and win the elections. Political experts say that the decision made the difference and TRS managed to win the elections with a mere margin of over 10,000 votes. Without communists, the ruling party might have not been able to win the elections. Even if it wins the margin would have been very thin.

The communist still have a good hold in the Nalgonda region and that's why KCR formed an alliance. But the alliance is now put into question allegedly as there are a few doubts about two parties walking together popped up now.

It is known that Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy sent shocking waves across Telangana with his predictions that the next general elections will see a hung and the BRS party might have to join hands with other parties and the Congress would be an option for this. His comments created a sensation on a level that Komatireddy had to clarify the statements and say that his comments were twisted.

When so much is going on in the state, the BRS is yet to respond and give clarity on this. The silence from the ruling party is raising many questions about the alliance. It has to be mentioned here that BRS and Communists said that the alliance is not confined to Munugode elections and would last in general elections too.

But the ongoing developments say that the reality is different as BRS leaders are yet to give a response on the continuation of the alliance with the communist parties. If BRS distances itself from the communist parties then they might have to join hands with the Congress as they cannot work with Bharatiya Janata Party.
