YS Jaganmohan Reddy moved a plea in the CBI Court seeking exemption from reporting in the court on Fridays, citing the Padayatra he is going to launch on November 2nd this year. The Court asked CBI to file a counter clarifying whether if it is favorable to the request placed by Opposition Leader or not. But, CBI went a step ahead and opposed even the padayatra.
An affidavit has been filed in CBI Court against Jagan's Padayatra by the Investigative Sleuths. CBI appealed the Court to deny permission for the Padayatra by alleging YCP Supremo made the announcement without even obtaining prior permission.
Experts say, Jagan needn't have to seek the court's permission for everything he does. YCP Chief should have to sought the clearance if he wishes to visit any foreign country and wants an exemption from appearing in court on Fridays.
Seems like, Attempts have been made to prevent Jagan from conducting his Padayatra in some way or the other. It's up to the CBI Court to decide what could be done!
