During 2014 General Elections, Chandrababu Naidu promised to offer monthly allowance for unemployed youth in the state. TDP Government focussed on implementing this poll promise almost four years after coming to power. Here are the conditions set for finalizing the beneficiaries list of AP Unemployment Allowance Schemeâ¦
1) Minimum Age - 18, Maximum Age - 35
2) Monthly Allowance - Rs 1,500
3) Minimum Qualification - Intermediate
4) Only One Member in a Family could avail the benefits of this Scheme
5) Beneficiary must have an White Card, Aadhaar Card and Voter Card
6) Farm Land must be less than 2-acres & Barren Land must be under 5-acres
AP Government allotted Rs 500 crore for Unemployment Allowance Scheme. Funds from various Central Schemes will be used for offering financial assistance to the Unemployed Youth. Implementation of this scheme is likely to be until 2019 Polls.
