AP CM Chandrababu Naidu compared the cash crunch situation post the launch of Demonetization to 'National Calamity'.
On Tuesday, Chief Minister expressed his displeasure on Bankers once again during the review meeting through Teleconference. He said State Government is in a helpless situation because of the lack of proper co-operation from Bankers. 'Currency Crisis is a National Calamity. We could overcome it only with collective efforts. I'm interfering in your affairs only for the sake of common man. Lackluster attitude won't be tolerated,' he said.
Babu maintained that availability of Cash and Point of Sale (PoS) Machines very less in the state when compared to the demand. He further adds, 'Maximum number of cashless transactions should happen from December 1st. Create awareness among people about the use of technology and online banking services'.
