TDP Decides To Take The Battle Directly To Congress This Time!

Update: 2019-09-29 15:15 GMT
Congress and Telugu Desam Party decided to fight together in 2018 Assembly General Elections in Telangana. Both the parties decided to put their ideological differences aside to win against Incumbent TRS Government in the state.

Many in Andhra Pradesh did not like this move from Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, TDP chief and then Chief Minister of the state. Some experts, this desperate move from TDP cost them elections in AP.

Now, TDP has decided to change that perception and directly fight with Congress even if it benefits TRS.

TDP gave ticket to Chava Kiranmayi in Huzur Nagar Constituency for the by-election and it is a direct contest with Congress as the party gave ticket to Uttamkumar Reddy's wife, Padmavathi.

TRS, BJP and CPM announced male candidates for the same seat. Looks like the TDP high authorities are backing on strong party workers base in the constituency and if need arises they might bring people from near-by Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh to campaign aggressively in the by-election.
