The itch of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was not yet over to congress high command and the Rebel CM once again opened his hard mouth on high command by saying that congress has nothing to get in Andhra except a deathblow
He said this in an interview given to a national media.CM while speaking said that the state to be united and this is not just his view but is the opinion of all his fellow legislators from Andhra.
After a long time congress is going to die in AP. They have to respect the sentiments of the people. I am not a permanent chief minister. I am the 16th Chief Minister here, there will be a 17th, a 18th or 20th chief minister. I don't want my state to be divided. They (PM and Sonia) have not understood the problem which is hurting me. They have not understood why we are rebelling so much being senior and loyal Congress persons for 20-25 years,"Kiran said
Kiran said most of the people from the state including almost 70% of even Telangana people are opposing state bifurcation
He is also once again confirmed that he would be submitting his resignation if the state has to be divided. Kiran said he is prepared for any eventuality including being sacked by his party for his fight to keep the state united
Other side congress was not in a mood to take action on Kiran and The AICC General Secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh, Digvijay Singh defends the CM saying he had never spoken against the Congress High Command. Diggi also ruled out any action against Kiran Kumar Reddy on this issue
