India's first Coronavirus case

India on Thursday reported its first Coronavirus case in Kerala. The patient is studying at Wuhan University. The patient is tested positive and the patient is stable and closely monitored. Till now the virus has claimed 170 lives in China.

As per the precautionary measures the health authorities have kept many under the medical watch. In various airports, the passengers who are coming from China were screened as the precautionary measure. India issued a travel advisory to the people.

The virus is believed to have originated last year in a food market in Wuhan. Medical experts say that it might have originated in Bats and passed to humans. Coronavirus symptoms are fever, cough, breathing problems, shortness of breath.

The virus can be transmitted from one person to another person, the transmission is likely through close contact with an infected person or touching the objects of the infected person.

Till now more than 6000 cases identified in China. The other countries with confirmed cases include Canada, Australia, France, Nepal, Malaysia, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UAE, South Korea, Germany and Vietnam.
