Court slaps Khammam Minor rape case Accused with 20 yrs jail

Hearing a petition, a Sessions Court in Telangana had slapped the accused with a jail sentence of 20 years and fine if Rs 2,000 for his heinous crime of raping a minor.

Going into details, the case of minor girl rape where a four-year-old was raped by the owner of a grocery store was brought before the Khammam First Additional District Sessions Court.

The Judge has given the verdict that the accused should spend 20 years in jail and a fine of Rs 2,000 should be paid by him.

The shocking incident took place in Bhadradri Kothagudem on the 19th of November this year when the victim came to the shop run by the accused Pingali Ganesh. He is called Chintu by the locals.

When there was no one in the shop, the accused saw this as an opportunity and raped the minor victim. The incident came to limelight, when the girl complained of stomach pain.

When asked, the victim told her parents what happened. Her parents had lodged a complaint in the Police Station. He was arrested and produced before the court. The court ordered 20 years of jail sentence to the accused.
