Demand for Sculptors after Amma's demise

All of a sudden the demand for sculptors grew multifold across Tamil Nadu after the demise of Jayalalithaa on December 5th midnight. Something similar happened after the death of former AP CM late YS Rajasekhar Reddy in a chopper crash in 2009. Jagan went on to unveil the statues of YSR at every nook and corner in the state.

And now, AIADMK Leaders, Party Activists and Fans took the responsibility to establish statues of Jayalalithaa at across Tamil Nadu. This trend came as a blessing in disguise for sculptors. Especially, Sculptors in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Tiruchy received huge number of orders in the past four days.

Dr.Vudayar has made as many as 20,000 statues so far. Out of them, 12,000 statues are of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. He also have a good reputation of carving the states of Ambedkar and several other prominent personalities. Some of his best works could be seen at Tank Bund in Hyderabad. He is a recipient of Ugadi Purskar as well.

Now, Vudayar received plenty of offers from Jayalalithaa's supporters. He already finished making several six-and-a-half feet statues of Amma.
