Dhoni's Good Gesture Of Not Taking Money To Mentor India!

Keeping the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup, the governing body of Cricket in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) has decided to utilize the experience and skills of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He was roped in as the mentor for the Men in Blue for the mega tournament.

Ever since the news of Dhoni stepping into the shoes of the mentor was out, Indian cricket fans and Dhoni fans were happy to see the veteran player in a new role. The other day, the BCCI gave a massive update on Dhoni's fees for his role as the mentor.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah was quoted by the News Agency ANI as saying that, Dhoni is not taking a single penny to be the mentor for the team for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Showering praises on the former captain for not charging any fees to mentor the Indian team led by Virat Kohli, Jay Shah maintained that they(BCCI) are happy that he had accepted their request to mentor the team and he had denied any fees for his services.

 With Dhoni joining the Indian team, the winning chances of Team India will certainly increase. The success rate of captain Virat Kohli and the tactics of Mahendra Singh Dhoni will put India in a better position compared to the other teams.

While the 2021 World Cup is going to be the last tournament for Virat Kohli as the skipper, Indian cricket fans are hoping that he will sign off as the T20 skipper by lifting the World Cup. Virat Kohli had earlier announced that after the T 20 World Cup, he will step down as the skipper.

"I have been fortunate enough to not only represent India but also lead the Indian Cricket Team to my utmost capability. I thank everyone who has supported me in my journey as the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team. I couldn't have done it without them - the boys, the support staff, the selection committee, my coaches and each and every Indian who prayed for us to win," Virat Kohli said in the statement while announcing that he will step down as T 20 format skipper.
