There are many in the TRS who have been fervently hoping that their work for the party would be recognised by the party chief. They were hopeful that they would be given nominated posts in various corporations and other state government departments. But, despite two years of the TRS 2.0 elapsing, there is no plan in the immediate future to fill these nominated posts.
This has caused lot of disappointment among the aspirants. But, what is the reason for not filling these posts? If sources are to be believed, the TRS boss is not filling the nominated posts due to the financial crunch in the state. The state economy is so bad that these the expenditure incurred due to these postings too is an unbearable burden. Each chairperson of the 50 odd corporations needs an office and an official car. The car would entail the expenditure of the driver and the fuel. Office maintenance too is a costly affair. As a result, KCR feels that appointing people at this juncture could be a burden on the state exchequer.
In TRS 1.0, KCR had filled all the posts. Now, even such a key department as the Mission Bhageeratha does not have a chairperson. It is being managed by the ministry itself. For the ruling TRS, payment of pensions and Rythu Bandhu is proving to be such a burden that it is forced to cut down on all other expenses, which it deems unnecessary.
