People with criminal backgrounds and cases as the special invitees of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board had reached the notice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court for one more time. Hearing a petition on the same, the high court expressed its anger on the same.
A petition was filed in the court against a few members of the special invitees of the TTD board who have a criminal background. In the past, the court had asked the members to file counter-affidavits in the issue. However, there was no response from them reportedly.
Noting that only two members out of the members have criminal background filed counters in the issue, the High Court with a strong tone directed the remaining members to file counters.
The petition was filed by a petitioner with the High Court saying that the ordinance brought to appoint the members is not valid as the Government Order was not given so far.
Hearing the arguments of the petitioner, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh had adjourned the next hearing to the 11th of next month.
